ABOUT THE CHARITY

We are a Charity Incorporated Organisation, Registered Charity Number 1170126, in England and Wales.

The Charity Supports, Enables and Engages the Iteso and others in the United Kingdom and outside, including Africa – Uganda in matters regarding their welfare and wellbeing. The Charity hopes to achieve this through the set objectives.

OBJECTIVES OF THE CHARITY

1- The promotion of good health and wellbeing in particular by relieving sickness and disease.
2- The advancement of education and training
3- The prevention or relief of poverty including the social inclusion of those Iteso people and other vulnerable groups who are excluded from society due to their economic and/or social circumstances.
4- The preservation and protection of the natural environment by promoting a more healthy and sustainable environment.
5- The promotion of the arts, culture and heritage in particular, the culture, history, language and heritage of the Iteso people in the United Kingdom.
